Junior Chamber Park
As part of Scenic Rim Regional Council’s ongoing commitment to developing vibrant towns and villages through its Playground Strategy, Council undertook a playground upgrade in Junior Chamber Park in Beaudesert.
Set within the beautiful Scenic Rim and surrounded by open green spaces, this newly upgraded park has re-opened in time for school holidays. Beautifully shaded and packed with amenities (including toilets and a picnic table), Junior Chamber Park will be a popular stop-off for tourists and locals alike.
The new play area includes of a two-bay swing, featuring toddler seat, classic swing seat and basket seat, allowing all users to enjoy the sensation of swinging. The height of the basket seat allows for easy transfer from a wheelchair or walker and users can choose to sit, lie or stand on the swing seat.

This integrated playspace incorporates a junior play system suitable for ages 1 – 10, with three levels of play and a huge mix of exciting activities in one impressive unit – the Giddy Green. With play activities along the ground, mid and upper levels, it features sliding action and climbing opportunities, all while promoting children’s physical development and helping to improve balance and coordination.
