Heritage Park

Situated 350km inland from Innisfail and the same plus again from the Gulf – Georgetown is a long way from the sea.  To create a hidden mirage, Council had requested a ship themed playground so Advantage Sports & Leisure delivered with a pirate ship style playground offering imaginative play above and below deck.

While the playground offers varied challenge and stimulation for young and old, a range of independent play items provides opportunity for the older children to burn of some energy and test their limits.  The Air Rider and Rota Glide give the vestibular system a run for its money offering a free flying experience while building upper body strength and coordination.

Now the youth of all ages have something great to keep them active and engaged in this quite remote outback town.
