Harvest Rise
A pathway of collaboration and trust resulted in the delivery of this unique and intriguing nature play environment for this high end development from Intrapac Property. The estate sets a new standard in sustainable community living boasting a 6 leaf EnviroDevelopment Certification. Reflecting on healthy lifestyle benefits, the recreational space has been designed to align with the estate’s sustainability ethic.
Working with Landsite Landscape Architects to develop a playspace with a difference , our newly developed Rustik range was a natural fit and the first playground of its kind in Australia. Australian hardwood timbers and sleek stainless steel form the main support frames of these net climbing structures that offer challenge and developmental stimulation for all ages. Younger players can learn their balance and dexterity on the ground level climber as they graduate to the taller more complex systems. Testing agility or hanging out in one of the hammock seats, net climbing promotes upper body strength and coordination, motor planning and grip strength, improved flexibility and mental planning. This in turn results in fewer falls and potential injuries as children learn to assess risk at an early age.
Informal seating and an adjacent shelter allows residents and visitors to settle in and enjoy the playspace and the surrounding natural landscape.
